Great news! It's here! My Visa to travel into Ghana has been approved and is here! My water is back on and I have successfully completed two of the three photo shoots for this week! Samples Below!

0630 am woke to yet another broken water line! This time it filled the front lawn, driveway and ran down the street filling the neighbors front yard, at 21* they are now the proud owners of a brand new shiny ice skating rink! I am sure they will be excited when they see it! Did I mention we live at 4750' in altitude in the mountains of Utah... Well the plumber is on his way back out again I am sure he is excited to get soaking wet in the icy cold weather! I think it's time to move down town....

On the bright side I have two more photo shoots booked for this week, more fitness and some portfolio work and my Visa for Ghana should be approved today! I can't wait to go!

BRRRrrrrr! So cold today!  Last night I walked outside and found my yard was a lake! Not one but two water mains broke in my front lawn, after digging and freezing my son and I found the source and got the water off. No warm showers tonight! This morning they were fixed lickity split  and the water is back on. I hope that this new cold front and snow storm doesn't bring more broken pipes that's three this month!
In light of the cold and having to wait on the plumber, I decided to take some shots of my dogs sitting in the warmth of the sunlight coming in the kitchen window. I posted a few here for you to enjoy and there are more HERE on my FaceBook Page.

I am a little concerned that my KickStarter project for Ghana and a 2nd Amendment photo shoots are not moving along... I was really excited to produce some work for people to enjoy. I am still going to do the shoot in Africa and will be doing the shoot with the girls for the calendar as planned just on a much, much lower budget. This starving artist thing sucks... Today is a good day to edit some photos, it's cold wet and raining here in the desert. makes for muddy trails and slippery ground. Not that much fun for photography. So I have been editing some shots from another shoot with some fitness friends of mine you can check some of them out here and of course I will post a few on this blog, enjoy!

Oh I almost forgot to mention, I have a few projects in the works and could use your help. If you have a second check them out here on my Kickstarter page. 

Today was bitter sweet...  I lost a very close friend today, they didn't pass away, however they are moving thousands of miles away and I may never see them again. I also found out my Ghana Trip will not happen until March. I guess that's not bad news but I am getting tired of waiting... Besides it's snowing and cold here and well lets face it it's warm and tropical in Ghana and that's not a bad thing in winter.

Yesterday was great I went out with another photographer and shot some great pictures of a ghost town (to be used in an upcoming photo shoot with come beautiful people) and took the afternoon to hang out in Zion National Park photographing my first photography love "creation" in it's winter slumber. Zion was great we shot a short Vid for my Kickstarter page and spent quite a bit of time within feet of the local Mule deer population relaxing and taking some fun pictures. I will be posting more on my Facebook page and I put a few here for you to enjoy.

Just got some good news about Ghana! Hopefully leaving soon! I will keep you updated. In the mean time I am scouting some Ghost towns here in Utah for a possible shoot, Stay tuned for pictures from the scouting and the following shoot.
